2012 WINTER LEAGUE INFORMATION

Rental equipment is availabe at a discounted rate if prepaid. Rental equipment is only to be used on the front (bale) range.

Tuesday Adult 3D 2012
Old 45 Archery
Typically a “hunter’s” league.

• Start:  7:00pm Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012
• End date:    March 27th, 2012
• League meeting date:  Tuesday, December 13th 7:00pm
• Cost:  $150.00 per shooter
  Fees must be paid by 3rd score shot or the 3rd scheduled night of league whichever comes first. A minimum of $10 per round is to be paid at the time it is shot until balance is paid.
• Team deposit of $35.00 must be paid to secure team position
• Limit of 14 teams
• 4 shooters per team (male or female)
• Shoot 28 targets up to 40 yards- 1 arrow in each target
• *Team scores are handicapped (amt of hcp to be determined)
• Shoot against a different opposing team each week
• Try to win best of 3 games against opposing team
• *Top 3 win/loss records at the end of season will receive awards
• *Individual awards will be given to high average and most improved
• *An award chair person is elected by the league each year.  This person is responsible for spending the league deposits on awards.
• Tuesday make up scores must be turned in by Sunday following league night
• Shoot ahead as far and for as many weeks as you need, scores will be used in the order they were shot.
• Substitute shooters are welcome, as long as they are 18 yrs of age or older.
• Perfect score is 336/28x
  12 ring=12pts, Heart=10pts, Lung/liver=8pts, body (including horns & hoof)=5pts, miss or wrong target=0pts
• *If no score is turned in by Sunday close, a zero will be given to the regular shooter who missed.
• Stats will be posted weekly.
• *Equipment restrictions are up for vote each year

Each year a meeting is held, rules are discussed, and a majority vote determines changes.

• Duration:  13 weeks
• League meeting date:  Wednesday, December 14th 7:00pm
• Individual fees are$150.00.
Fees must be paid by 3rd score shot or the 3rd scheduled night of league whichever comes first

• Limit of 14 teams

• League meeting date:  Thursday, December 15th 7:00pm

• Target type: bales, paper targets, cardboard animals
• Registration limit: 8 students per class
• Shooting experience: up to 10 yards Equipment Needed: bring your own or rent ours
  
  This young and busy group will be taught how to be safe on the range; how to walk with their arrows, how to determine where the shooting line and the waiting lines are, how to make it safe to walk down to the target and pull their arrows. They shoot balloons for prizes each week! Each shooter will receive a participation T-Shirt!

• Target Type: Bales, paper targets & cardboard animals up to 20 yards Equipment Needed: bring your own or rent ours
  
  The first day of this league is usually spent half on reviewing safety, and getting assistance with working out “bugs”, and the other half will be to keep score to determine what distance is most appropriate for them. The following weeks they will keep score to determine who will be the top 3 shooters. All participants are given recognition with a free T-Shirt. A special award is given to the top 3 shooters.

CADET 3D

• Target Type: 3D Shot Distance: up to 20 yards
  
  If you have shot quite a bit and you would like to chal-lenge yourself to a 3D course designed for an 8-12 yr old 3D shooter, you might like this league! This league will be made up of teams of 2 shooters. Teams will be determined by randomly pick-ing names out of a hat. Shooters will shoot up to 20 yards at 3D targets. Team scores will be handicapped to offer closer competition.

Junior 3D

• Age: 11-17 yrs
• Time: 3pm-4pm
• Cost: $50 per shooter
• Season Length: 6 weeks
• Target Type: 3D animal targets up to 30 yards
  
  If you are an advanced youth shooter and you can shoot up to 30 yards, you will be interested in shooting on this league!
  This league will be made up of teams of 2 shooters. Teams will be determined by randomly picking names out of a hat. Shooters will shoot up to 30 yards at 3D targets. Team scores will be handicapped to offer closer competition.

“LEARN TO SHOOT ”
(8 yrs and up)

• Age: 8 and up
• Time: 3pm-4pm
• Cost: $50.00
• Session Length: 3 weeks
• Registration Limit: 8 students
  
  This class is recommended if your 8 yr old and up has never shot in a league setting before. This is a group lesson atmosphere where the student will learn: safety, confidence with handling equipment, and shooting skills. If you intend to shoot in the Cadet (Bales) league and you have never shot before or you need a refresher course, this would be a great way to get a lesson at a very reduced price!
  
  Students do not keep score.

(14 yrs to adult)

2. 3/24/2012-4/7/2012

• Age: 14 to adult
• Time: 3pm-4pm
• Cost: $50.00 per shooter
• Season length: 3 weeks
• Registration limit: 8 per class
• Target type: bales, paper targets
  
  Class description is the same as the above except start dates, and recommended age is 14 yrs to adult. This class is especially recommended for the adult who always wanted to take shooting lessons but didn’t want to spend the money for private lessons!
  
  Students do not keep score.
